We are a diverse family business with a heart for faith, family, caring for the land and treating people fairly.
History of the Farm
Ben, Tom, Mike
Our family has two farming entities that operate in a 50 mile radius of their main facility in Monroe City, Indiana. This includes Gibson, Knox, Pike and Sullivan counties in Indiana. In Illinois, it includes Crawford, Lawrence and White counties. The family farms over 14,000 acres of commodities including corn, soybeans, wheat and milo. The family also operates as a grain elevator known as Anson Farm Services or AFS, for themselves and for local customers with facilities in Monroe City and a recently acquired facility in Winslow.

Both Farming entities are 100% no till farm and are faithful users of cover crops to protect the land. AFS has been in existence since 2005.
AMS Farms
MK Farms
Tom Anson & Ben Singleton
AMS Farms started in 2003 when Tom and Ben rented their first farm in Pike County. Since then, the operation has grown steadily and now covers approximately 8,000 acres in seven counties. We rent the majority of our acres, and we strive to be good stewards of the land and good partners with our landlords.
Mike Anson
Mike Anson started MK Farms in 2019 following a change in the ownership of the family business. Mike has been farming since 1974, previously with his father and his brothers. MK Farms operates approximately 6,000 acres in five counties.
